Hi! I'm Becky.
For the curious, here are some "facts" about me: I am deeply inquisitive, adventurous, growth-oriented, hopeful, creative, enthusiastic, and a believer in all things LOVE (which I continue to learn more about every single day...)
I was married, I was divorced, and I have two Most Excellent Sons and tons of hard-won life lessons to prove it!
Unequivocally, pain has been one of the greatest motivators in my life; after experiencing a really heart-breaking series of relationship ruptures, I decided to finally take a hard look at my own patterns and contributions to the unhealthy dynamics that fueled them. The outcome of that inquiry resulted in a completely altered outlook on love and understanding of the purpose and inner workings of our inter-connectedness, along with a strong faith in our capacity as sovereign beings to learn and cultivate new ways of showing up for ourselves and each other.
I firmly believe that it's through community and inter-dependency that we learn how to identify our emotional needs, find our voices to express those needs from a heart-centered place, establish healthy boundaries, clarify our personal values, acquire/practice conflict resolution and listening tools, understand the influences of early childhood attachment styles, and recognize the natural stages of relationship evolution...in other words, re-claim and live out of our TRUE HEARTS!
This awareness through my own heart-work has had such a profound impact on the way I show up now in relationships and community that I am following a call to walk alongside others who are making their own way back to a place of true belonging; back into that sacred space that existed long before the world began to de-construct our TRUE HEARTS by denying and silencing our deepest, most authentic needs, gifts, and desires.
I do sincerely believe that if we learn to turn back to and embrace our own TRUE HEARTS, we'll be able to embrace each other's, and the world will quite simply be a much better place for all of us in which to live...
My life is now a full-on YES to that!
